• Homemade Donuts

Buying this $8 mini donut pan was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a while. We made these petite pumpkin donuts this past weekend which were a big hit.

If you forget about how you drowned them in butter and then generously coated them in cinnamon and sugar, it seems way healthier than traditional fried donuts. Essentially it’s just muffin or cupcake batter poured into the mini pan and baked. After making the batter I transferred it to a ziplock bag and snipped off the corner so I could squeeze it out in a nice round ring.

The best part was because they’re so itty bitty they cooked in less than 7 minutes. So officially it’s  the quickest treat ever (a dangerous realization). I’m excited to experiment with it. Next up: chocolate glazed donuts

I have a pan similar to that one & tried the suggested recipe on the pan and it was horrible. I threw the donuts away and dumped the pan somewhere in the cupboards. Sounds like I need to try a new recipe! My pan thanks you for saving its life.

Yum! I just packed up my kitchen for a renovation and can't believe how much kitchen stuff I have. It's ridiculous. One more pan can't hurt though, right?

The fact that you normally have to fry donuts in a big ole vat of oil is the only thing that stops me from whipping up a batch or seven (donuts can occasionally be found here in France, but they look like they've lived on someone's pantry floor for about a year), and now you show me a donut pan! Fire up the ovens!

So cute and they sound so good! I really want to make apple cider donuts soon. These minis might be the way to go.
