This is a holiday DIY series showcasing 10 different ways to decorate a glass ornament. I’ll be featuring one tutorial every day this week and then the real treat is I have five of my favorite crafty bloggers lined up to share their ideas each day next week.
This would be a really fun tradition to continue doing every year. Every Christmas you could open the last year time capsule and read together with your child the things you wrote down about them a year ago, “Remember last Christmas when you could only count to 20 and you cried every time we washed your hair in the bath?”
Type up a list of characteristics, milestones, or simple things you want to remember about your child this year. The more specific the better. Print out and roll up.
Secure with a piece or ribbon or yarn. Place inside your ornament.
Alternative to glitter: cutting the age out of contact paper, sticking to the ornament and applying acrylic paint to the inside.
