• Weekend Roundup

Jared is getting home tonight from a few days backcountry skiing and Henry and I are both so excited to see him. We’ve been working the last couple mornings on putting together a crocodile polka dot welcome home banner for him (a true artistic collaboration), as evidenced here and here. I’m excited to spend time as a family this weekend. I’m thinking about making a huge pot of vegetable soup since our CSA veggie box just arrived today. Yum!

Here are some notes and links from here and there:

April video classes just announced! Blogging 101 will be on April 18th at 5pm PST and Exploring Advertising Options for Bloggers on April 23rd at 5pm PST. Sign up!

This week I had the chance to attend the FM Signal Conference here in San Francisco. All the powerhouses of independent web were there from twitter, facebook, google etc. Was a really great event. Plus! A pleasant surprise to seeĀ  my own Levi’s ad showcased by Adam Bain, the CEO of WordPress. It took me a couple seconds to realize it was me I was looking at on the screen! Ha!

Spotted some gorgeous images from Sydney Dance Company (image above) via Diana of exPress-o. I danced ballet for years growing up and still miss it sometimes. Such a beautiful form of expression.

Ever made fresh ravioli? I want this

I don’t know if I could pull these off but I’m kind of obsessed with them!

I posted about these beautiful nursery pillows a while back but was just reminded of them. One of my favorite baby gifts.

Is it a little weird that I’m obsessed with Erin’s laundry room makeover?

Just bought this book, This Is Not the Story You Think It is. Looks so interesting, thanks Gabby for the great list!

    Pretty details of Victoria’s home

Fruit for everyone! Love the idea of this company Stephanie found

    Touching story, great non-profit

Homemade ravioli is actually not nearly as hard as you’d imagine. That tool from Williams-Sonoma looks like a good one, though I’ve always just used an old-fashioned rolling pin and ravioli stamper. It makes me feel in touch with my Italian ancestors!

your veggie delivery looks delicious. I just moved to SF and am trying to find a good CSA to join. Which one do you use? From the picture, it looks like a good (and generous) one…

Hi! We use Terra Firma Farms. I’m new to it but have really loved it from couple weeks I’ve seen! Also, their pickup locations are really convenient. Our pick up location is literally at my son’s preschool, where I am everyday anyway! Big bonus.
