It’s been such nice weather here in San Francisco, which is really surprising this time of year (they don’t call it June gloom for nothing). Today we even ventured up to Train Town, a charming little amusement park in Sonoma and it was scorching, 100 degrees! We were happy to come back to theĀ 70s of the city after that. Up to anything fun this weekend? We’ve been purging a ton of stuff in the house and it feels great. It’s partly to get ready for my sister whose coming tomorrow, and staying with us for the summer! I’m excited to start knocking things off the must-do in San Fran list with her. I’ll be sharing the list next week, so stay tuned! Have a great one, here are some links to explore:
A pretty hideaway (image above) I want to spend all summer in

Hi Liz, Thank you very much for the great tutorial of the mini make-up bag. This weekend I made 5 (!!) and shared your link on my blog. Somehow I didn’t manage to leave a comment under that article, t I hope you’ll get this one. I’ve found you via Pinterest, great blog! Thanks again, kind regards from Holland, Imke
That hideaway home is so perfect! I’m doing a backyard tent post so this fits perfectly!
I envy your beautiful weather. I’m north of WA and man, it’s been an awful June.
I’m excited about your SF must-do list! We live on the Peninsula so I’m dying to see what’s on your list. I’ve been dying to go to Train Town – well, my son has!!! It’s closed during the week which is when we go up there! I feel so mean.
Make sure you have Alice’s Restaurant on your list – the biker cafe on Skyline. My toddler adores all the bikes and their chilli is great!!
Hey Cathryn! Train Town is open during the week during the summer (june through august). You should come up, it’s very cute.
I’d forgotten that!!! Wow – thanks for the reminder! I see an outing coming up this week!!!
I love that little hideaway house! Think that I too could happily pass a lot of time there!!
I’m going to a 20′s themed Jazz festival tomorrow in NYC. I’m so excited
I miss the west coast in June! So pretty
