• Trend Crush: Scarves

    By fashion contributor Ashley
If clothes were boys then scarves would be my kindergarten crush. I’ve been a fan of scarves since I was knee high to a grasshopper. Maybe its their versatility across the seasons, maybe its the cozy factor, maybe its to cover up my long neck…. either way, I’m crushing. My next goal and dream in life is to knit me one of these beauties!… Probably just in time for next winter.

I love the entire outfit in the top image. I have tons of “spring” scarves and no real “winter” ones so I always avoid wearing them in the winter. I think this post has inspired me to bust some of them out now. I have one like #6 but it’s from J.Crew.

I am such a sucker for scarves! This season I’m all about the loop/infinity scarf. I have three so far!

We love scarves! I’m 5’10″ and my daughter (a senior in high school) is 5″4″…so the only thing we can share…scarves and we have so many.

Pick some seriously chunky wool, which is even more comforting, and knitting one up takes no time at all! You’ll get addicted though, it’s nearly instant gratification and you’ll need multiple colours and patterns.

      Pretty choices!

I have a partially knitted scarf I need to finish. Hopefully in time to wear at least once this year! :)

I adore scarves. Knitting them is easy as pie. You should definitely do it. Knitting a scarf is even Ryan Gosling approved.
