  • DIY Apple Bookends

    I saw these animal bookends from PBteen and thought it would be a really simple project to DIY. I decided to switch it up a bit by using toy fruit and some heavy blocks so the bookends would actually hold books between them.

    Keep reading to see how to make these cute bookends for your child’s bookshelf (or your own!)…

    I bought a big bag of life sized plastic fruit from amazon here

    Then I hot glued two apples onto two of Henry’s heavy blocks (shhhh let’s hope he doesn’t notice they’re missing!)

    Spray paint and let dry!

      Soooo cute…you would never know that those apples are the lightweight plastic ones. Amazing what spray paint can do!
