Hi friends! Sorry this is so late! Last week was Alt San Francisco, which was a really fun event and we had lots of family in town as well which is why it’s been a little quiet on the blog. It was so nice to have in our city. I held a roundtable discussion Thursday morning about selling ads which was a lot of fun, and met so many wonderful and inspiring bloggers. For two hours we all chatted and I answered all kinds of questions around advertising. A one-day event felt so manageable to me, I highly recommend it (image from the Acura party above on Wednesday night). Here’s an instagram peek of how I dressed the bump for my roundtable:
A couple updates on the position openings I announced last week:
The Blog Manager position has been filled and Advertising Manager is most likely filled as well (but if you’re still interested, feel free to still apply). I’ve received such a high volume of applicants for the food contributor position that I’m not accepting any more. I’m still accepting applicants for Project Assistant. I’m also possibly adding on one more position:
Craft Contributor: Produce and photograph high quality and original craft posts in the areas of home, kids, fashion. Desirable skills include: photography, crafting, sewing, photoshop.
For Project Assistant, you must live in the bay area. If you’re applying for the project assistant you also must have your own car and be available weekday mornings (keep in mind that if you don’t live in the city, this might not make the most sense due to traffic). Email my assistant Ashley at firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested.
