I was so excited last week when Liz announced the best news ever, that she is pregnant! Like all of you I am over the moon about the new addition coming her way. To celebrate her announcement I did a round up of five of my favorite maternity dresses on the web.

1. The Shirt Dress from Hatch (above)

This dress is so versatile. I love the beachy way that Hatch styled it. You could also wear it with a leather jacket and some platforms for a night out.

2. Midi Striped Dress from ASOS

This dress is the ultimate everyday casual dress. Perfect for running errands or a day at the park.
It would also look great paired with a Levi jacket!

3.  Water Color Tank Dress from GAP

This tank dress would work great as a cover up! It also could be one of those pieces that you find yourself throwing on over and over again around the house just because it is so cute and comfortable.

4. Polka Dot Dress from ASOS

The possibilities with this dress are seriously endless. I love the way they styled it here, for a date night or night out on the town! I can also picture it dressed down with some flats and a jean jacket.

5. Color Blocked Maxi from Target

More than once I have tried something on in Target not realizing it was from the maternity section. They have really cute maternity wear, this maxi included! It doesn’t get more comfortable than a maxi, perfect for these up coming summer months!

I loved Liz’s post on Monday on 5 Spring Wardrobe Essentials and thought this look for less followed right along with her tip on pattern mixing… “be sure both [pieces] don’t have big patterns and that there’s one color repeated in both”.

My husband is a huge baseball fan and since this week is the opening week of baseball I thought it would be fitting to do a post on one of my favorite trend crushes for spring….baseball caps! Ever since I saw J.Crew’s spring line topped off with floral, leopard, and bright caps I just couldn’t get the idea out of my mind. I have since seen some chic leather caps, feminine lace caps as well as a denim cap at Target! What do you think of this trend, is it for baseball games only or everyday wear too?

In fashion lately we’ve seen just about every style from every decade creep back into the latest trends, so it was only a matter of time till overalls came back around. The last time I wore overalls was in 5th grade, complete with cartoon characters on the bib…hardly a fashion statement! But, I have to say, I might actually be willing to go for a round two on the overalls. After all, they are SUPER comfortable and if styled right they don’t look half bad either. SO, are you a fan? I found this look from Madewell inspiring in the way they layered a black and white sweater with a floral print and paired it with a bright short! It gets me excited for spring but I don’t think I’ll be ready for shorts for a few more months. Trading the shorts for pants makes this outfit a perfect transition look from winter to spring!

Here is a round up of a few looks I’m crushing on for Valentine’s Day!
1. I’m in love with this beautiful lacy bralette that clasps in front and shouts sexy in the most feminine kind of way.
2. I picked up this jacket at Forever 21 over the weekend. I love the structure it has in the shoulders. Pair it with a slicked back ponytail and some heels for the perfect Valentine’s Day look.
3. No better way to say “Pucker Up” than with a bright shade of red lipstick.
4. Ban.do knows how to do accessories, especially with this perfect sparkly heart. The only problem I have is deciding whether to put it on my head or over my heart.
5. Valentine’s Day is the perfect time for twirly skirts, like this lovely number from H&M.
6. Wear your heart on your knees! with these cute tights.
