It’s not quite February and I am getting major vibes that everyone has had just about enough of winter. I’m definitely ready for some sunny days! This outfit makes me think spring with all of its colors. Dressed down with some flats I think this look would be really cute for a stroll at the farmers market. Is anyone else having warm weather withdrawals? I feel like I’m betraying myself with this post since winter has always been my favorite season (what is wrong with me, right?) Finding the perfect holiday dress can be a pain, not to mention break the bank! For this Holiday Look for Less I chose a classy option that has lots of pieces that you hopefully already have in your closet (tights, black pumps) to make this look even more affordable. Its the perfect end of summer look…. a light sweater and boots with a flowy skirt and a pop of print! And not to mention, a cute little lamb!

I love this look for its simplicity and ease. But what Madewell exceeds at is adding interesting details, like the leopard belt, cord pants, and black and white loafers. With basic pieces like the jean jacket and t-shirt you have in your closet this look becomes even MORE affordable… justifying spending more on statement pieces (i.e. shoes and accessories).

I went to Madewell.com for today’s look for less inspiration and fell in love with this outfit. It feels so effortless, yet put together at the same time. I love the soft pink blouse paired with subtle black and white patterns. This look is a good example of pattern mixing for all you pattern mixing beginners out there, take two pieces that are the same colors but different patterns and don’t wear them RIGHT next to each other. It makes a classy statement without SCREAMING pattern mixing.
